Anybody else don't know what day it is?

I just did the GRATITUDE thread. I really thought it was Thursday! UGH!!! I'll be so glad to get back to normal... Please tell me I'm not the only one who is confused this week. LOL!

I am also really messed up!! Dean went back to work today after their Christmas shutdown of 11 days. I have today off and will go back to work on Thursday! Crazy week. I am looking forward to this weekend, just to get back on schedule!

It's sooooo not fair to have TWO Mondays in a week! That's what it feels like today. I was trying to put the trash out but it's Recycle day instead. Color me confused!

Ya know, getting old isn't all it's cranked up to be :o My increasing loss of brain cells compelled me to come up with the following adage: "Abandoned hair shafts make escape routes for brain cells" :o Just shoot me if my eyelashes ever turn gray! It is frustrating. Clothing is being made more and more cheaply off-shore because consumers will not pay the appropriate price, anymore, for quality garments. Clothing prices have not climbed like other prices and inflation. But I digress.... This past Spring, I returned three pairs of slacks to an online retailer, because they all shrank one inch in the inseam after I had washed & dried then even more conservatively than the care label suggested. It was the only thing I could do. Since that retailer guarantees customer happiness (and I was not happy), they refunded me fully. As for your laundry shrinkage, I can't think of anything else you can do and you should not have to take them to be dry cleaned unless the care label states that.

Samsung specifies clearances of 1 inch to the rear, 1 inch above, and 1/2 inch to right, none to the left. Samsung FD refrigerators should fit in that cabinet without a problem, provided you have the 1 inch clearance in the back and on the top. If you have a little more above the unit, so much the better. Hot air rises. The air path is under the fridge, up the back over the coils, out the top. Little side clearance is required. All the major brands seem to specify little to no clearance on the sides.

Too dry. They like to be watered and will be among the first plants to yellow and drop leaves when too dry. I have one older one in a large pot...in a dry winter like this I had it do the same thing...so now I water it well again every few days.

I know last evening, when Dh was heading upstairs, I asked, "So did you put the trash out?". He looked at me with the most puzzled look, then the light dawned. "It IS Tuesday, isn't it?" He had kept saying yesterday felt like Sunday. Probably not a big issue--the trash--with yesterday being a holiday, they probably won't get around to us until tomorrow anyway, but I don't like to take the chance that somehow, this would be the one time they manage to pick up the holiday and regular trash on the same day. Although, looking out the window, looks like we're one of only 3 houses who did put out the trash today.

We watched so much college football yesterday, I was sure it was Saturday. lol So today is Sunday and yet, I'm going to the Post Office!

I NEVER know or care what day it is. My scheduale is such that I work weekends and holidays all the time. I'm off now until Sunday. I love not knowing what day it is. Mondays aren't gloomy like when I was in school. Weekends mean nothing more to me than my regular T.V. shows aren't on. All the days are the same and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I look at my calendar to see what day it is, and what's on the schedule. Well, I do most days, and on days that I forget, I don't know for sure what day it is till I read the paper. :)

LOL! when I read this post topic, I thought "Duh, it's Monday". Then I read your post about it being Wednesday,not Thursday! LOL!! I guess I didn't know what day it was either!!! Hahaha!! I was confused and didn't even know it!

I just had to glance at the date on the computer to see what day it is....seems like we have had a "month of Sundays". Today seems like Monday to me.

One year I took a week of my vacation days on Wednesdays
I was so mixed up it seemed every working day felt like a Monday or a Friday I said never again I took them all at once the next year.

I posted my 2008 Calendar on the wall in the computer room, now I know. Since, retiring I never know what day it is. If Oprah isn't on a 4:00 it must be the weekend. LOL!

Not only do I not know the day, I NEVER know the day. When you're retired the only day that's different is Sunday. We were w/ some friends the other night (our age--really young) and they said they hadn't even adjusted to the time change yet! Me too! I hate the time change!

All I have to say that this is two weeks of confusion.Not only that, when I look outside it looks like spring. DH says it is cold out there tho.

Always confused about the day and today the year, apparently because I kept writing 2007, and 12th month. It's kinda sad when I have to ask my patients what the date is and then have to really think about it to know if they're right or not.

I have one of those wonderful atomic clocks, with big numbers on it. Besides the time, it shows the date, the day of the week and the inside temperature. Being retired and living alone, I'd never know anything without that clock.

I keep calenders around handy, and even have the little stick up ones in the vehicles for reference when I'm out and about.

they said they hadn't even adjusted to the time change yet!
tee hee hee...I've still got 2 clocks I need to set backward an hour yet.

I've been messed up since the weekend before Xmas. DH is off work until next Monday. Finding him at home when I wake up is very confusing.

Yep, didn't dawn on me that I had to do payroll yesterday until about 20 minutes before I walked out the door for the day. DUH
