It is frustrating. Clothing is being made more and more cheaply off-shore because consumers will not pay the appropriate price, anymore, for quality garments. Clothing prices have not climbed like other prices and inflation. But I digress.... This past Spring, I returned three pairs of slacks to an online retailer, because they all shrank one inch in the inseam after I had washed & dried then even more conservatively than the care label suggested. It was the only thing I could do. Since that retailer guarantees customer happiness (and I was not happy), they refunded me fully. As for your laundry shrinkage, I can't think of anything else you can do and you should not have to take them to be dry cleaned unless the care label states that.

Just wanted to add that the first time I got it very bad, we were at a friend's house in the country. They were burning the ditches, and apparently I inhaled PI smoke. I also got it bad in the spring time when it was pollinating. You don't have to have direct contact with it to get it. Mom said my uncle used to tease her by pulling it up bare handed and rubbing it all over. He never got it and neither did my grandpa. Mom got it bad all the time.

Too dry. They like to be watered and will be among the first plants to yellow and drop leaves when too dry. I have one older one in a large pot...in a dry winter like this I had it do the same thing...so now I water it well again every few days.
