on this deal. Is this one any good? And while I'm asking questions, I have verizon dsl, any tablet I should happen to get will work with it right? And I apologize in advance for asking dumb questions.

Anyhow, can I surf and email, fb, gw, etc. on this one?

Am I wasting 50 bucks, and should save it toward a different Android tablet that's a 3.0 or better? If you really think that, please tell me. If this is not a good name, or you wouldn't buy it I'd would appreciate your input. Thanks!

On the surface, it looks like a good deal. However, I'd Google the specific model and see if you can find any reviews before making a decision.

They don't typically start growing rapidly till overnights hit over 60*F and daytime over 80*F. Where did you get st augustine sprigs? In your town? If so, how did it look round year?

To answer the original question it isn't your Internet connection (DSL) but rather if you have a wireless router (or you DSL modem has one built in). Then you'll be able to connect with a wireless tablet. Just as a bit of trivia, at one point there was a wireless router that could actually use a dial-up connection. It was designed for business users so that there was a back-up should the broadband connection fail.

I agree, a basket of staples is always a good thing. When my neighbor lost her daughter I took coffee, creamer tea bags, cups and plates, napkins and cookies that could be eaten or frozen. She had a lot of family and friends who stopped by and said it was wonderful to be able to give them cookies and coffee but not have to go to the store for anything. I agree, pasta is usually well received by children and lasagna, ziti, mac and cheese, etc is good, and many can be frozen for later. This family will need help for a while, having only one adult left to care for two children while dealing with their own grief is hard. A certificate for pizza is always a good thing, or even gift cards for fast food or local restaurants. Homemade bread and cookies freeze well and can be saved for later. Whenever I baked bread, I sent a loaf next door to my neighbor, for a couple of months. I also sent a dozen fresh eggs from my "girls", or a loaf of quick bread or a plate of cookies or chips and salsa. I seldom made something "special", I just made a double batch of whatever I was making and sent it next door. That might be more "doable" with your own small children and another on the way! Annie

I fear you still have some of the infections still lingering and that could very well be interfering with your installation. I would suggest going to LzD and having Corrine look at your logs she will be able to see if any of the infection is still there and how to remove it. She is great at this she goes step by step as slow as you need. You would not want to risk having infections on it at any rate. Analysis and Malware Removal that is the link to LzD where you can create your own post, you do need to register at the forum and they will email you back. I am there and Corrine will be there to help you. Let us know so we can be watching for you.

Sorry I got here late and I have been scouring the web trying to find out which version of Android it has on it and if it is upgradable. I have finally found it has Android 1.6 and from what I read it is not upgradable, which is a real shame. It will not do much with the 1.6 Android system.

It can still be used for many things including reading books. and looking at pictures and listening to music it has quite a bit on it as it comes. You can use a usb or ethernet to it by way of a little adapter it comes with, it takes a mini sd card so you can store your books pics and tunes on there. It has a pretty low resolution so it will not be super sharp.

For the price you really can't lose much if you just wanted a basic device for reading and stuff. It does have wifi and you will be able to surf and all of that including email. Where you will have problems is that many many of the apps will not work on that early version, but some do.

These are older tablets from probably 2010 that is why they are putting them out there so cheap these days.

It is made by pandigital the same company that made the pandigital novel that I have. here is a link to the pdf manual for it you can read more of what it can do.

one thing this one has the resistive type touch screen so will be a harder touch for it, you use the tip of the finger or fingernail or us the stylus.

the over all reviews I have been reading are not real favorable.

In todays market I am recommending Android 2.3 and higher and the higher the better Android 4.0 may be out now I know it was close to ready.

So just depends on what you would want to use it for like I said.

I did not answer your verizon question, if you have a wireless router and a wireless network then yes any tablet will work, if you do not have a wireless router on your dsl you can easily add one on.

I wanted to answer you here also Raven. The reviews I found were pretty crappy also. I do have a wireless router, we have a desktop and a laptop. Desktop is on it's last legs. Will prob get another laptop for DH when it finally goes. I was interested in the tablets to take out and about instead of the laptop.

I'll def start looking for the visio you suggested. I really appreciate all your help. Thank you!!
