Could it be that those who report the news are so removed from their food that they haven't seen any of it in it's natural state? A few days ago I checked out my groceries, which included a cucumber. The sweet young thing checking me out looked at it, turned it over, looked at the price-list, wondered aloud whether it was a zucchini. Told it was a cuke, she said: "oh, that's what they look like" Fellow behind me in line laughed and said: "well, if it isn't microwaveable, they really can't name it"

Okay, I ran to the store because (horrors I know) I didn't have green food coloring. THEY WERE OUT! I went to the bakery department, told them of the emergency and suggested that they give me some. Now the eggs are sitting in green egg color and I am contemplating calling them "Spider Web Eggs" for Beau's benefit. Until Nancy's post I had forgotten that one of Beau's suggestions was "green eggs and ham" for tonight's Family Dinner Night. Lily suggested edamame, go figure. Anyway, while at the store I got ham and I'll roll up cheese sticks. After Family Dinner Night, we will practice Easter Egg Hunting to get ready for our multi-family Easter Egg Hunt. I think I know where he gets his competitive nature from.

Sorry....No pic's.....because I started cooking, with most of it,as soon as I got home. Shelley....the farm I went to was called....."The Back Porch" It is just before you enter Harrison Hot Springs. Look for the sign....and if you don't see it.....just go to the " Visitor's Information Office" That is right in Harrison. The Mountain Honey....well they sell it everywhere in Harrison. Hope you have a good time, and if you want to go to a good restaurant while you are there, go to the " Crazy Fish Bistro" I had the Spinach Salad (with the Pine nut dressing) and the Steak Tenderloin. It was absolutely fantastic!!! It was really fresh and tastey. The price was right too. Have fun!!! Diana55 P.S.....The Log Cabin Pub there makes really good French Onion Soup. Nice Pub too !!!

Looks like some fun for them. :) They'll remember that one for a long time. I'd have to close my eyes to eat the colored eggs even though I know in my head they taste perfectly fine.
