Lamb chop help

I am marinating some lamb chops in a lemon/olive oil marinade. They are to be grilled, but I don't have a grill. Should I put them in the oven on a rack and broil, or bake? They are about 1" thick, and I think they might burn in the broiler before they are done.

What I'd really like to do is put them in the toaster oven.

How to cook these?
