There's nothing better than that honest-to-goodness-tired one achieves from groovin' in the garden! A fistful of ibuprophen and a nice chocolate peppermint tea will set you right! I have to agree, your dogs are no better than my cats. They lounge around like they own the place and I'm just their she-servant. Oh wait. They DO own the place and I AM their she-servant... I've been hittin' the chicken poo, too. I clean out my friends coop and happily cart it away in my PT Cruiser. Sigh. I just can't have nice things. I'm glad you got your groove back, you groovey thing! Men slaving in the garden... it's a glorious thing. :-)

I use a Fein Multimaster with a flush cut E blade. Dremel also has a much cheaper version called a Multi-Max. Lay down a metal speed square where you want to make a cut. Tape it down good using blue tape and then make your cut using the fat part of the speed square as your guide. Cut back slightly at an angle so the new board will drop in clean.

Yup, I have tentatively chosen cork now that I have 5 bad discs. But I also recommend strength-based therapy and hip mobility work to actually fix the bad back and knees. I can stand on tile now with no problems. (But I won't use it because I HATE GROUT WITH A PASSION.)

> There isn’t enough room under my grow light to put them in any bigger of a pot, because it’ll take up more room. you have to make a choice then. find room and get them in a bigger pot or they will continue deteriorating, nothing else you do will make them better.. i am pretty sure that's what's wrong with them -- stress from small pot. if the temperature is above 50 outside, transplant into something bigger and put them outside during the day (start them in partial shade) and bring them in at night.. the plants would likely do better than where they currently are. next year start them later, or plan ahead to have more room / light.
