Radiant floor heating using the base board water supply?

Is it possible, or useful/efficient, to use the looped hot water in the baseboard system to flow through radiant heat tubes in some portion of the house? We are thinking of installing a new cork plank floor in the living room, which is near the end of the heating loop for our single story house in Connecticut, and I am wondering if, instead of buying a separate system, I can simply reroute the returning existing hot water through new tubing under our floor, then back to the furnace? Is that ever done? Thanks.
