Comments (1)LOL...that reminds me, this week and last week I stayed a couple of nights at a very shi shi hotel while I was helping to host a nursing convention. Well it was a small intimate setting with 2 large conference rooms and several other small conference rooms with about 130 women and the typical 3 stall women's bathroom. The hotel let us take over the accompanying men's bathroom (since they had another one in a close by building). I used the men's bathroom which was very elegantly appointed (like the women's>. Gorgeous tiles on the floor, granite on the walls and sink. 2 stalls in the men's room and 2 urinals. In my hotel room they had a beautiful fluffy white throw rug and 2 fluffy white robes (they are a full spa hotel). But in the men's bathroom under the urinals were these same fluffy white throw rugs. I thought, boy they must have to replace those a lot and only a shi shi hotel like this would have them in that strategic space....See MoreRemembering funny threads
Comments (24)Never in a million years would I have thought that looking for a broom would engender 98 (and counting) posts. But I underestimate the TKO! Keeping up with it as it goes is fascinating and interesting and fun. But reading the whole thing AFTER reading the Widgets thread...priceless. And BTW, I am going to buy a new broom...or three...now after reading that thread. And will join the posts that said "this thread is costing me money" :) But no widgets; they're so out of fashion now and would affect my resale. Here is a link that might be useful: Really fantastic widget I mean broom...See MoreFavorite Threads Thread
Comments (27)Bee: That was me who had the screaming fight with the GC. I can't locate the thread and can't recall who we wound up casting as him...someone sufficiently appealing to reel me in as a customer, but ultimately smarmy. Harvey Keitel? I do recall that I wanted someone like Julia Roberts or Scarlett Johannsen to play me, but sadly had to realize Kathy Bates was more realistic. Even more sadly, the saga isn't over yet....See Morelobotome
