My grandson is in a 'cutest baby' contest

Hi Everyone. My son and daughter-in-law have entered my baby grandson in a cutest baby contest. If anyone would like to vote for him, you can vote up to 5 times a day (and can enter the votes all at once, one right after another) and can vote every day from now through February 12th, if you'd like to do so. You do have to sign up on the site, in order to vote so that's a bit of a pain the first time you vote, but not necessary to do again for later votes.

I'd sure appreciate any votes, but if you like babies but choose not to vote, you might want to check out the site and look at the pics anyway. There are a LOT of extremely cute babies out there and some really nice photographs!

Hi Brightonborn! He is the baby that the link that I posted takes you to. His name is Devin. In the photo he is in a blue and white bouncy chair and is wearing a long sleeved shirt with a red pattern made up of letters on a white background. He has the prettiest big blue eyes and a big smile :-)

That's great Lucy, we would love to see you here although our beautiful city may take a while to recover from drought and heat. I haven't been to the Riverwalk in a while, but I'm sure they are working hard to keep it green. They just opened a new section with new landscaping, so I'm sure they have a lot of work to do there. Thanks guys for trying. I think the contest site got overwhelmed & they had a hard time keeping it going. They sure had a good response to their contest with so many cute dogs! I couldn't even find out how many votes Fendi ended up with. I tried to log on & it says it doesn't recognize my user name, so I tried to make a new account and no luck. They were supposed to keep the dogs pics up until Jan. 15. Maybe they will get the site going again. If I hear anything else I will post it. Shelby, I found that site from someone on this site who wanted me to vote for their baby! I am not sure if you can still enter for February, but the home page of the contest would tell you for sure. You have to first create a home page for your baby (it's all free) but you have to have a digital camera or a scanner or your photos on disc to do it. The site goes through all of the instructions to upload photos onto your site (it's kindof confusing but you just have to take it step by step)- I am no computer gu-ru!! But once you upload the pic you want for the contest then it is all taken care of. Every month there is a different theme, but once you win, you can't enter again, to give everyone a fair chance. It is pretty much, whoever can get the most people to vote for their baby wins, but it is still fun to see your little one online!! Andrea

I have made quillows or quilts for all of my siblings children and grandchildren with the exception of one...her mother is a quilter so had to do something else. I have only received thank yous from the parent not the recipient and find that quite annoying as well as the way things seem to go these days. We were not raised that way so not sure how they came to be that way. So many of the younger generation are indulged and therefore feel entitled. If they are entitled then there is no need for a thank you in their minds. My youngest sister is expecting another grandchild this year and has already mentioned a quilt. Not sure if I will make one. He's adorable!! My grandson was born this past July, too, and we would definitely describe him as fun and active. :-)

I just voted for him, what a cute little boy. My granddaughter told me last night that my 11 month old great-grandson is now 28 lbs. Not fat as he is long too. Hope your grandson wins.
