Hey there! Right on, nope I haven't heard anything from them yet, but will keep an eye and ear out for it! It could be one in the same, sounds like some species of Sphinx (commonly referred to as 'Hornworms') but I wouldn't be able to tell 100% without a photo or the host plant =/ Then again, the other that comes to mind with that description might be the Xuthus Swallowtail, which would be found on various Citrus. This cat looks like bird droppings until the last instar, at this point it has yellow and black eyespots and looks similar to a hornworm...I know I have a photo of my own somewhere around here...Ah well, a link'll have to do =] Good luck with the Plum.s! I have just a few of my own starting now, just a matter of waiting to see what colors I've got. Have cuttings from a few different sources and no idea which are which =/ Gonna be a surprise lol. Got plenty of Cannas right now, if you're interested in those at all just let me know. Probably got right around 8 different variations. Yep - there's a bunch of truth there! I used to teach with a woman (I started to say a lady...) that I thought I liked. Then I found out that every kid in every drivethrough window in town had been a sacrifical lamb to this woman. She was a real terror with people in restaurants, fastfood places, etc. Totally lost any respect that I had had for her. Part of it was because all three of our kids had worked fastfood and I KNEW how hard they worked. Man! Did I get off on a tangent!!? LOL

I was going through my email contacts just the other night. I just couldn't bring myself to delete his. Still think of him, his beautiful photography and his cat, PC often.

I sure do miss his contributions to the daily picture thread. He took some beautiful photos.

I was thinking of PC, too. Dave and I shared the same birth date. Anyone care to tell me how he died?

Miss him. Loved his pictures. He was a sweet guy too who helped me years ago with computer/Ebay stuff.

Here it is Kat. He was such a talent and a very nice and generous fellow. I wouldn't know how to do squat on this computer had it not been for Dave.

Dave died of complications of heart surgery. A very big loss to us all. I believe it was last January 26 that passed.He sure is missed.

I can't believe it, still, that he's gone. He was such a huge presence.

What happened to his cat? Did one of his family members take her in?

I miss him every day. Unfortunately, the cat disappeared some time before Dave died - went out one day and never came back. He missed her.
