I suspect that the family misunderstood the doctor's statement about the CAT scan and brain activity. As far as I know, CAT scans are not used to detect brain activity, so the doctor probably said something like "the scan does not show brain activity." Hopefully this is a good thing!

I feel so bad about this. I've been away from the computer since Friday and just opened an email from Rella at the OHH forum telling me about "no brain activity". I've just been hoping and praying Dave was getting stronger and am just shocked to hear this sad news.
