Q for those with hypothyroidism

It seems like I remember a few posters from here who have hypothyroidism.

I was recently diagnosed albeit boderline (based on TSH of 5.2 but I have a bunch of symptoms) and my doctor put me on Levothryoxine with a 50MCG dose. It's been a week and yesterday I started feeling funny. I'm a little anxious and I have a lot of pressure in my head (like blood pressure) and my ears feel clogged. When I bend over I feel like my head is going to explode. Also, I'm hungry constantly, even right after I eat.

Does this sound familiar? Do you think I need to cut back on my dosage or is this temporary while my body gets used to it. I think I've had a low thyroid my whole life and this is the first time its had a boost.

I've checked my pulse and it's perfect and I'm going to the grocery store in a few minutes so I think I'll check my blood pressure at the Pharmacy.

Any ideas? I do plan on calling my doc tomorrow but I was looking for some real-world experiences.

Thanks for anything you can offer.
