One of my rose books has a wonderful chart which has illustrations of all the flower forms and their names. I will see if I can find it for you. The easiest one though is 4-5 petals which is a "Single". Per the American Rose Society's "Basic Rose Terminology" article: Single – Referring to how many petals the rose has – usually four to eight. Semi-double – Referring to how many petals the rose has – usually 12 to 25. Double – Referring to how many petals the rose has – usually between 25 and 45. This of course does not cover the actual flower shape, only petal counts.

I sometimes enjoy the FB translations. I follow a site that frequently posts in Danish, a language I can read only snippets of, and it took a bit of sleuthing to figure out that what FB translated to "beat a crown" really means "flipped a coin". It's actually kind of educational to re-translate the FB translations.

Many saves on zillow - not translating to showings. Feedback appreciate Hi, We recently listed our home and are seeing alot of traffic and saves on zillow, redfin, etc. (much more than other homes in the area or other homes that my realtor has listed) but not many showings. The home is priced well below others that have recently gone under contract in the neighborhood and area and the inventory for the price, size, and condition is very low. The feedback we have received is that the price and condition are good - just that the yard is at the side of the home and not in the back (which is obviously not something we could change). Other homes with similar yards have sold for a higher price though. I should mention that this home is being sold via relocation - not sure if that effects anything for a buyer (no seller's contingencies though). I know it hasn't been on the market that long but want to make sure we are doing everything we can to market it well. I don't have a link to the post you're asking about, but if you can't find it, just go to Austin's HMF page, here, and there's a list of all his roses. Some are listed by the registered "aus-...", but the rest all have the trademarked name followed by the "aus-..." John Edit: I just noticed that a few roses, such as Gabriel Oak, don't have the "aus-..." name on the list, but you can just click on the link to go to that rose's page, and the registry name will be on the description.
