anyone tried the yoshi blade?

I saw the infomercial for the y o s h i b l a d e , which is an as seen on TV ceramic knife. I know that as seen on TV products rarely work as they are advertised to, so I'm just wondering if any of you here have tried it or know of anyone who has. I'm quite happy with my 50 dollar set of Farberware k n i v e s and my electric sharpener (just got myself banned from the CF for life, didn't I?) LOL But, I thought it would be fun to try something new... I've never used a ceramic blade before. I was going to buy a plastic knife for using on lettuce anyway, but this one says it won't turn the lettuce brown and it would be a little more versatile than the plastic one. I like the idea that it comes with a peeler too. My peeler is getting dull. Last Sunday, I went to a flea market and they had a NIB Kenwood electric peeler.... I'm guessing from the early 90s. Never being able to pass up fun or unique kitchens tools I bought for 5 dollars. It has rotary blades that spin and a plastic shield to contain the "pulp" that it sprays everywhere. Well, it's awful.... it can't touch apples because of the design, and when using it on carrots or potatoes, it sends pulp everywhere and takes too much of the vegetable off so there's lots of waste. So, the Y o s h i b l a d e coming with a peeler could be a good thing. I'd just like to read some reviews before buying it,and I can't find any online, maybe it's too new. In the commercial, it looks like they are sawing with it instead of slicing and it's not serrated so that confuses me.

What do you think? Is it worth a try, or should I pass? Of c o u r s e (spacing to avoid advertisements) I'm sure I could get a refund if I find it awful...
