feels just like period? but no blood?

Hi, since ysterday I keep running to the bathroom! I feel cramps, very wet, irritable etc.. Its not ovulation cuz my period is due Thursday, but I usually don't feel like this week beofe hand. Also I've been trying to get pregnant with my husband.

Anyone experience anything like this before? any stories would be nice

Are you sure you're not pregnant now? Or maybe you're just getting your period early?

A lot of early pregnancies simply don't take. Very often the woman doesn't even know she had a fertilized egg. It just seems like a rougher than usual period.

If your period doesn't start by your usual due date, check with your doctor. It could be that you are pregnant and need to take it easy for a little while.

I totally get your excitement. I have a few citrus trees started from seeds years ago - lemon, key lime, grapefruit, and satsuma orange - some of which are pushing 4 feet tall but none have flowered... yet. I'm sure when they do I'll be gushing on here just like you. Congrats! Make sure squirrels stay the hell away from them - they will pull every little fruit off they can when they are small. It seems like once they are golf-ball sized squirrels then leave them alone. I have lost entire treefulls of lemons, oranges and grapefruit to the stinkin' squirrels.

medcave, those jelly jars might have been the ones that are like drinking glasses with a snap-on lid. I got some accidentally in a batch of jars I picked up off craigslist. Probably the HW store would be happy to let you look at them. I did take a closer look. One of the boxes was open in the center. They *were* like drinking glasses. In fact a couple of the other boxes had been taped back up. Folks had obviously bought them in the past thinking they were the regular screw-on lid jelly jars. The screw-on one-piece lids I showed above were on a separate shelf from the jars, not the ones included in the jar cases. Those had the plastic snap-on lids as there were no threads on the jars. Old stuff - before my time. If I ever think of anything small I would want to freeze, I may go back and buy those "freezer jelly jars". ;)

That sounds awful, that sounds like a good idea to at least look into taking it. The Mirena IUD is something else you could consider too. I've been having heavier and increasingly awful cramps and finally went to the doctor about it. She just told me to take more ibuprofin before my period started and to consider getting the Mirena IUD. I felt a bit brushed off, she gave me a pelvic exam but didn't test my hormone level or anything else. I hadn't heard about your periods getting worse when you get older-I'm forty one. Jen

If you are very fortunate, it could possibly be over. But I am sorry to say that that is very unlikely. You could go through several more years (like I have) of months between periods. Spotting in between. Fluctuating hormone levels, periods of few hot flashes, then periods of hot flashes every time you turn around. It is really impossible to say when your last period is, except in retrospect. Early menopause was kinder to me, not so much the last two years.

It sounds like you 'could' be pregnant. Sometimes there is cramping and even sore breasts that resemble period symptoms in the very early stages of pregnancy. Remember your folic acid!

Or, maybe it is just a little of that cramping before your period but you don't really usually notice it because you're not thinking about being pregnant.

I agree, it sounds like you may be pregnant. My hubby & I began trying last September and by mid-October I was pregnant, although I didn't know it/take a test until the first week of Nov.

I didnt have any symptoms like that when I was pregnant. Everyone is different I suppose.

I think it is just psycho-sematic.Meaning,you are either thinking about your period or thinking about being pregnant,and your body is giving you these symptoms.

As soon as I realize my period is due,I start having symptoms.And it is common to have these symptoms you are speaking of up to TWO WEEKS before your period.

But definitely if no period shows up by next week,take a test to see if you are in fact PG.
