Bamboo: Dragonfly strand woven, carbonized satin - comments?
Comments (1)Hi, I found your message in a search and I'm curious if you ended up using this floor and if so, how you like it? I found this brand at a local flooring store and it looks really nice. The hardness seems great. Thanks!...See MoreCostco Strand Bamboo by Wellmade
Comments (1)I have oak floors throughout my house so wanted something that blended, but was different when I update my kitchen. I used the bamboo strand floor from Costco. I have a small dog. I just noticed my first scratch, DH broke a jar and I'm wondering if I missed some glass that may have scratched it. I would definitely recommend using same. I live on Long Island but use air all summer....See Morestrand bamboo or solid carbonized?
Comments (7)We are trying to decide on wood for our home. We looked at Teragren Strand Bamboo  their version of click/lock that comes in wide planks. We will install ourselves, so the click/lock feature is appealing. The Teragren is amazing stuff, but it is also very pricey. I believe many fine companies offer a T&G that can be floated  just make sure before you purchase as not all T&G can be floated. We like the bamboo. I also like Brazilian Cherry (Brazilian Direct now offers a click/lock Brazilian Cherry!)  but IÂm not sure there is enough grain in BC to satisfy my DH. Just do a lot of Googling. Many times it will bring you back here to a good conversation about just the thing you were interested in. :-)...See MoreStrand bamboo: glue or nail down?
Comments (0)I will be putting strand bamboo in my new kitchen. It's a small kitchen (9" by 10"), above grade with a plywood subfloor. I've been given a choice between a nail down installation and a glue down. Is there any reason I should prefer one over the other? Also, I'm deciding between Plyboo and Teragren, which I hear are both good quality brands. Anyone have any experience that would lead one to choose one brand over another? Thanks!...See Morejeri
