I would use the enthusiasm to go in and pull unwanted plants but leave the area as intact as possible. You still like those plants and they seem to have liked the area also. Your mint will keep growing even if you pull it though, so you can make peace with it in that area or you will really have to move everything if you can't stand the mint growing without your desire.

Good news. I met with my doctor yesterday. He came in announcing that I had a glowing report, excellent results on my labwork. He looked at my nails and said that I had suffered some sort of trauma 4 months ago (he could tell by the indentations and growth of the nails.) The only thing I could come up with was that I took a really hard fall on my left knee while helping my niece move into her new college apartment. Sounds trivial, but it was a solid hit, and brought tears to my eyes and deep bruises from my knee to my toes. He said that definitely could have been the cause. So, hopefully, mystery is solved. I said that I wanted to try getting off of the Effexor antidepressant, and he said not to try doing it now, during the holidays. That I should do it, slowly, weaning off. So, other than exercise and eat better, that's my plan for the new year. I can't tell you how relieved I was. I really was afraid it was something more serious. I am terribly guilty of not taking care of myself these last two years, and it could have cost me. I lost a dear friend to breast cancer in June, and she fought so hard to stay alive. She always ended her emails with "listen to your body." This episode was a wakeup call to me......thanks for listening to my ramble.

I get mine from express scripts and pay 9.00 for a 3 month supply.I was totally surprised last month when they sent my refill for Femara,and it was free.Seems it went generic,so no charge.That's ok with me,i'll take free any day. Some of our meds we fill on the base,so no charge,but others they don't carry so it's express scripts or cvs. I really feel sorry for those that have high co-pays.I was at the oncologists one day and this older lady in front of me came in for her treatments and her co-pay was 277.00,i almost dropped my teeth:) I pay nothing for that either.Thank God DH was career military. kathi

add me to the list of well-wishers!! so sorry to hear all u are going thru, its very exhausting, mentally and physically., so take of yourself so u can take care of everyone else!! a friend of mine, her son of 19, had a stroke out of the blue...they still have no real reason for it. he was in a major hospital in the city (PA). he recovered 100%, was very lucky!!!!!!! he will be monitored the rest of his life. it really can happen at any time to anyone for any reason.... so whoever said up-thread, Health is Wealth, is very smart indeed. we always say "if u have your health, you have it all".... annie1992, my thoughts and prayers are with u and all your family, all the best!!! always love reading your posts, BTW :)
