Ive already done a few (hehehe) I had some fresh azure monkshood and delphiniums that I wanted to get in the dirt ASAP, so I started with that and followed with lupines, hollyhock mallow and some montbrietta (also wanted to get that in fresh). Limiting myself to perennials that actuallY NEED the cold for now. I think I made a mistake in DSing some california poppies in the beds in front, not sure if that was a good idea or not. Not sure if the seeds should be frozen, not sure if the slugs and earwigs will eat them as soon as they sprout. I think tomorrow Ill do balloon flowers (I got pink --I hope).

gc- Love the windchime and the blue totem. You did a good job on both of them. Next time you get into the grout, try soaking your nails in Polident (or the Wal Mart brand of denture cleaner) Believe it or not, this will make your hands and nails come clean and look good in no time. I use two tablets at a time in a bowl to clean mine. So, don't despair, there is a remedy for just about anything.

I have it for about 1 year. The drawers already cracked on the track they're running on; one was already cracked/piece brokenoff when it came, so I got a new one, which I'm keeping as a spare until the drawer completely breaks. The seal has ripped in the middle. My husband says it's a design flaw and related to opening the doors. You can open the drawer when one door is open, but I think that may have broken the track it's hanging on. happens when you don't open the door all the way. My freezer drawer does not stick, but there's not a whole lot of space in the freezer, and stuff is even harder to find than in a top freezer. The icemaker is about 4" high, 11" wide, same as the similar drawer on the other side. Overall, it looks nice, but actually offers less space than our old top freezer model. You can just open one door, but most of the time, we open both unless we get stuff from inside one door or the upper drawer. Space on the inside of the doors is also cramped. I have the SS.

We went through this 5-6 years ago. We have a half size commercial basically free that served us well for years. Still use it for extra ice and a 'blast chiller'. Maybe two months a year. Plug it in a week before a party or a couple days before a stock making weekend. Probably used commercially in a pastry chefs area so flavors don't meld with savory. I went through the Lowes/HD game for weeks. In stock/order/then out of stock. Very frustrating and felt like a scam over and over. Started looking at commercial but a Fridgedare was finally delivered and in stock. It has been great. It is all about need. I did not need it but DH wanted it for Fall harvest veg, meats, seafood, juices and stocks. We have been buying farm bulk. Seasonal rotation. Large enough for bulk herbs, grains, seeds, nuts. Grains alone is worth it. Shopping lists are a minor chore having quality proteins in the freezer. I don't get the hesitation for frost free if contents are properly sealed and used timely. All our proteins are 2019 and nothing else older than 2018 except for some herbs and grains, nuts and seeds. A chest freezer for bulk if you hunt or raise chickens. We did consider this one.
