WOW... Why and how would your HVAC guy configure a new system like this??? And why would you LET HIM?? The 315 is a wonderful furnace... had you gotten an Evolution A/C, then the Evolution Controller t-stat would have been perfect. It will tell you exactly what your equipment is doing and allow you more flexibility than you would ever need to run things however you want. Unfortunately, the 127 is not Evolution compatible. But since you already have your A/C, what's done is done. Your HVAC guy is right in that when multi-stage A/Cs don't get hooked up to intelligent t-stats, they take it upon themselves to determine what stage to run. The circuit board in the unit does this by taking into account what variables it can read by itself... like how long it's been running, how often the t-stat is requesting it to run, possibly outside temp, etc. From that, it determines what mode to best run in. It's not anything even close to having an intelligent communicating T-Stat like the Evolution Controller, but it's better than nothing. I think the simple answer here is to go spend some money and buy a multi-stage aware thermostat. That is a no-brainer to me. Bryant model T6-PRH is one option... and you can find it yourself on E-bay for $200 or so. Or I'm sure there are a bunch of other options out there.

Stages is a prep sink. If you're going to take advantage of its features, it's the place you prepare your ingredients. Since you have room for it, go for the big one. Part of the point is that you can use the accessories to make it into counter space as well. OTOH, if you tend to leave a lot of dirty dishes in your sink, hide them there, having a separate clean-up sink for hiding the dishes is a good idea. Alternatively, have you seen the Galley sink??

I to thought that my mom and her mom would be an indicator of what I might face with menopause but they weren't. Grandma had a hysterectomy and mom had six kids. I have none. Mom's lasted about 10 years, hot flashes real bad and just couldn't make sound decisions. Very moody as well. For me, 50 today, last period a year ago. Hot flashes a few times a day but the thing that bothers me most is the mood changes. I have always been a pretty even keeled kind of person. Mom always called me laid back Laura. Stress never got to me before but now, I have a real hard time with it. Fortuneately I work with men, my husband being one of them and a our boss is a friend I've known for 20 years. I've always been able to be brutally honest with him and if I'm having a bad day, I forwarn him and he keeps his distance. Leg cramps have also been real bad since this all started. Fortuneately I can control it to some degree with supplements of calcium/magnesium along with black strap molasses.
