waterlox on pine floors - footprints normal?

We are just about finished with our new home - we installed wide plank southern yellow pine floors ourselves, but we had a professional come in and sand the floors and put waterlox on them - 2 coats original, 2 coats satin. He did the coats less than 24 hours apart (maybe 12?). The website states to stay off the floors for 4-7 days (preferably 7). Today is the 7th day. My dh decided 5 days was fine, so there have been a few people walking on the floors with shoes since Thursday. When you look at the floor from an angle, you can see footprints all over it and it looks pretty bad. We wiped it off, used wood floor cleaner and walked on it again to test it - you can see every footprint on the floor. Is this normal? Is it because we walked on it too soon? Is there anything I can do? Unfortunately it's Saturday and no one answers at Waterlox. I'm upset because I assume this isn't how the floors are supposed to look. Dh thinks it's normal and no big deal. Thanks you any replies!
