I've used a Sonicare brush for years. We have a pair of them. Why would you necessarily want a charger that can charge both brushes at the same time? You're not supposed to leave the brush on the charger all the time because that will just destroy the batteries. Our current brushes are over a year old and still doing about two weeks on one charge. When one brush gets low, we leave it on the charger until it's finished (replacing it after use). Then the other will run low, so it will have a turn on the charger. I've never used the Oral-B flavor. I don't think a mechanical brush is going to be as effective as an eletronic style. (A motor moving the head vs electromagnets.) It is possible for an electric brush to be too harsh on your gums, so you do have to use them gently on the gums and then at an angle on the sides of your teeth. My hygienist said the brush should be held still, but I move mine around gently to ensure the bristles are touching all the surfaces. It does seem to help toughen up the gums so they don't bleed so easily when flossing.

Verrrrry helpful. Thank you. Reading about the fluid dynamics of brushing seems necessary to me. Call me crazy, but I just can't buy based on fluff and huff. I may need to learn more about brush heads. I've been using a compact one because I thought it reach more of the concave surfaces behind and around the "frames" of my teeth. Maybe that's a mistake - ? I asked the dentist today when there'd be a whitening method for those with sensitive exposed roots, like me. He said never. How can that be? Doesn't anybody want to get rich?

Marilyn, did you make your own cherry pie? It's been a long time since I've made one and I love cherry pie. I found some jars of dark german cherries at Traders Joe's a couple of weeks ago and bought those since I had none here, thought they might make a nice pie. But haven't made it yet - I may drain some of the juice, will have to guess on the sugar. We went to an afternoon birthday party for our great nephew, one year old. I'm very proud of our niece in law, she did a wonderful job executing that party and for more guests than I was expecting to see. Pulled pork sliders, meatballs, salads, fruit. Brownies, cookies, cupcakes. A cake for baby that he wanted no part of! Probably typically, he wasn't too interested in the mountain of presents either but greatly enjoyed the wrapping and tissue paper ;) He mastered very confident walking just yesterday, his actual birthday....a cutie. If we have any more to eat tonight, it may be a cold ham sandwich from a ham I baked Thursday, but we both had plenty to eat about 3:30 PM.

I too have rentals and I have been in the rental game for 30 years now. In my experience one of the biggest mistakes a landlord can make is not having proper storage space for things a tenant is going to have. Both the counter top and the storage under a vanity are essential for rental properties in my opinion. I would never sacrifice those. What the tenant is going to do to get storage keeps me up at night. The idea that a tenant is going to come in and put their own storage in makes me cringe. I never buy a vanity with a toe kick. I always buy a floating vanity or buy a regular vanity and modify it so that it is on some type of leg. I never have a problem with a vanity rotting even when next to a tub. That really doesn't have anything to do with renters, that has to do with living in an area where setting wooden vanities on the floor in a bathroom was seen a kind of stupid. Just my 2 cents. I am not saying anyone else is wrong, just relaying my experience.
