Removing and re-using red oak planks

Currently on our first floor, we have red oak hardwood in the dining room, kitchen, breakfast area, entry/foyer, hall closet and 1/2 bath. Then we have carpet in the living room (about 200 sq ft).

I would like to remove the hardwood from the entryway, bath, closet, kitchen and breakfast area, and move it to the living room (take out the horrible carpet) and then add tile to those areas we removed the hardwood from.

Is this difficult to do, in that when removing the hardwood, would it get destroyed easily? They are 2 1/4 width planks.

Thanks.
