Thank you "gals" and thank you, Teresa, for doing a good job of keeping up with the "aging process" of us all! (big smile) And, for sure, I do want to wish you a very happy day, McT!! It's funny, I've only ever had personal knowledge of one other person in my life with the same date of birthday, then along comes McT and in our care-group at church, there are now two others of "us" , making 3 out of 26 people who have the same "day" as you and I, McT--not "year" but "day"! I've made the big "6-0" this year. Seems about the same as yesterday at "5-9" but the day isn't over yet! LOL Oh, that was my age not my height! My height is actually 5'7", and "NO", I'm not about to reveal my weight---none of your business, ya'll! (Real big laugh) I've been so tremendously busy and involved in some pretty heavy stuff the last few weeks, and not been on the computer communicating during that time. I never thought that'd happen. Teresa gave me a "head's up" about the birthday so I knew I had to check in and say "thank you"! I see I missed Pat and Caliloo's days respectively! So sorry "gals"! I hope you had great days each of you!!! Gotta run--just realized I need to get a new license this year! Groan! Tags are good but they need another pic. I guess--just for laughs! :O) janice

Well, "hey ya'll!" I should have checked in and picked up my wonderful greetings! I should have known that if Teresa (birthday fairy) sent me greetings by email she would have done the same here!!!! I'm back for just a 'drive by' because we are heading for Florida next week, to be gone for up to three weeks. I'm kinda nervous about leaving my hosta at this time of the year!!! Thanks everyone! Yes, it was a really fun day. A couple of girlfriends wanted to take me out to lunch, but I asked if we could do it next week since this weeks is so jammed. They completely ignored my request and showed up early afternoon with champagne, balloons, presents, berries, cheese, crusty bread, and a killer spinach and artichoke dip. We laughed and talked all afternoon. Last night my family took me out for a special birthday dinner and we had a lovely meal. Towards the end, some other friends walked in to have an after dinner drink and ended up joining us - woot! The party continues! And there is another dinner coming in a couple of weeks, 14 of us are going to a recently redone restaurant here, I can't wait since I have heard so many good reports, so I will be partying for weeks :-) Thanks again and yes, it was a great time. Yes, I had a fantastic weekend hanging with friends and family, unfortunately DH was away at a conference, so we will be celebrating this week. I am also going to be lunching with several friends tomorrow and Wed and Thurs, so it seems this is Birthday Week for me!
