Wood floor buckling in 8 yr. old house

We have wood floors on the main level of our house. I noticed that the floor is buckling in the kitchen near the back door (a noticeable hump when you walk on it) and to a lesser degree in the home office. The buckling seems to be running along the length of the house in the same spot -even in the family room where we just had new wood floors put in last summer. With the exception of the new floor, all of the wood was put in in 2000. I asked one of the wood floor contractors what he thought of the buckling near the back door and he thought it might be a structural problem with the house. He mentioned that the dishwasher lines might be there, but since there was no cupping, he didn't think it was a water line leak. I have no idea who to go to for help. I would like to figure out why the floor are buckling and take care of them. Should I contact a home inspector? Another wood floor expert? Thanks for any help in advance.
