I think the white/cream chair you have in there right now is just too bright and stark with everything else. I'd choose something a bit more like this chair (in their version of "cream"), so there's not quite as much contrast, but it still brightens things up a bit. BTW I've always dreamed of having a space live yours...it's just so stately. I have a Maxwell sectional in Italian Brompton Cocoa. I am trying to find a comfortable recliner that will be look same as leather on my sectional. I know Restoration Hardware has a few recliners, but I have heard they are not comfortable (especially if tall). I just can’t justify paying that much for something that isn’t comfortable. The recliner will mainly be used by my husband. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!!

I don't know about the construction, but make sure the leather is full or top grain
