Where to buy a sectional sofa?

I am looking to buy a Sectional sofa with clean lines but not futuristic.

Any advise?

Hopefully they have a store in Chicago IL or St Louis Mo area.

If you're OK with purchasing your new sectional sofa online vs. in a local furniture store then you should check out clubfurniture.com in North Carolina. They have a variety of custom sectionals in fabric (including slipcovered) and leather. They don't have physical showrooms, however, they'll send you free swatch samples of their covering materials. You can basically design your sectional to fit your room. Nice selection of styles and colors. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback. My preference is for a stationary sectional with a traditional look (nothing modern), don't need recliners and want firm cushions due to back issues...I attached a photo of my current couch. It took me 8 months to find the Broyhill and thought we found a gem with the firm Duracoil cushions. This was our 3rd Broyhill and we still have a leather couch that we love and the other one lasted 17 years with a houseful of kids. Broyhill has gone way downhill and the Duracoil technology is a bust! The thought of picking out another couch makes me cringe...off to Pilgrim tonight. We might go with something in leather.

sectional sofas, lee or sherrill, which to buy?

Met with the Lee rep today in our store. All their sofas have 8 way hand tied springs, and their lead time, with fabric in stock, is currently running about 6 weeks +/- for a sofa. Sherrill makes a fine sofa too. I think your decision may simply be determined by which company has the fabric you prefer. It depends upon the retailer, but Sherrill may end up a few dollars more.

It looks like their lead line is Omnia Leather Furniture. If you click on any product on their site it takes you to the Omnia Leather manufactures page. Omnia is a great line and made in the USA. Their warranty is awesome and their quality is tops. Be a smart consumer and make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck and don’t be afraid to compare.

That is hard question to answer. A leather would probably wear the best if of a good enough quality. What price point do you want to stay in?

Have you tried Crate and Barrel? They have their annual custom furniture sale in Sept. Lots of their sofas have clean lines.
I just ordered a sectional from nantuckit.com
Haven't received it yet but the ordering process was easy.
