“Is real tight” mentioned tighter than the door that works well? If so, ck the load or weight of the doors with spring assistance for the same weight. I am questioning drag or load on the problem door. They should be the same as low weight or the cable might be stretching. Age of doors might need oiling rollers Etc. Foundation shifting might be an issue. Look close and good at both ends of track and share Pics of both ends. Next is quality of materials with today’s workmanship. Since mid 1980 I have learned all chain vs chain and cable are better. Plus, steel sprockets are better. I have originals given to me in the mid 80s, “oiled and maintained” as noticed from sounds or changes...

On the back of your motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find a button. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to your keypad and enter a 4 digit number of your choice. Press enter and you should be set.

HI, Have Sears Craftsman garage door opener 1/2hp 139.53985DM model, and I can reprogram the keyless keypad, but none of the other remotes can be programmed. Anyone know of what could be going on. thanks, Brian

Take off the cover and look around the front of the motor. I'm sure you will find a white nylon gear with the teeth missing. You will need to replace that gear. The part number is 41A2817
