Comments (3)The keyless entry pad located on the outside wall of the garage isn't working. Is there a battery that needs replacing? The light on the buttons doesn't light up. And sometimes the light on the garage opener (that lights up the garage) stays on and dosen't shut automatically if the garage is close. But if the garage is open it will go off. What do you suggest?...See Moregarage door opener remote

Comments (2)On the back of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find a button. Press and immediately release this button and then walk over to the keypad and key in your favorite four digit number and then press enter. If this doesn't work the keypad has an internal battery that could be bad. If so replace it and then follow the above instructions. Should get you going....See MoreCraftsman 1/2HP GDO Keyless Entry Problem
Comments (1)I would erase the memory again and try to program the keyless first. When programming it you sometimes have to push the buttons like your going to push them through the back of keyless then push and hold down enter for a second. If that does not work put a battery in it and try it again. Then reprogram all the other remotes. Let us know you it does not work or you run into another problem....See Morejpsqwe
