Quality Leather Sectional in NC

I am looking for a good quality leather sectional for our cabin type house. I thought I found a good one at Costco, but the finish could easily scratch off so I returned it.

Since I live in NC, I know that the Hickory area has hundreds(?) of furniture stores.

Can anyone tell me where to look in NC?

I prefer to buy one off the floor, no special ordering..

Hi nanst8,

Maybe this will help, I own myaffordablefurniture.com which is a online furniture retail store. I do not have a brick and mortor store. The internet is your best best when your looking for a discount and selection. Without having to stock anything means you will always be able to buy the latest styles from our store.

Here are some recomendations I have for you. However if you buy online it wont be easy to return. Thats where the trade off happens, your getting a good discount. If you want a free leather sample I will be happy to send you one. Just let me know. All the products we sell are always inspected first hand prior to putting it on the "market".

I have done a project for an aritcle in some regional magazines and would like to throw this out there. How about Craigslist or Ebay? I purchased a lot of furniture via those two outlets and found I could get a lot for my money. Just an idea!!

I am sure you can save some on the mark-up on the leather by buying from a leather source. It may seem like your getting a great price but actually your getting exactly what your paying for. Cheap price=cheap leather or problem leather. Leather is now trading as a commodity on the world market and everybody is paying about the same price for wet blues sourced from any country. Demand for leather is still high so, Its a little bit like oil and the fact is their is just so many cows (or buffalo) to go around.

I ran across the following leather sectional on Craigslist, and am seeking advice on how to evaluate the quality of the leather. http://www.inmodehome.com/magento/default/pesaro-sectional-sofa.html Does anybody have any background with Pesaro, or if I go look at it at the seller's home, how do I evaluate the quality of the leather.
