In my "old" :*( kitchen I had those white arabesque tiles. And the grout was very important to the design to give it the right look. I really needed a true white grout. What I learned from Bill V was that a lot (if not all) of the grouts have a caramel coloring in their "bright white" mixture. If there is caramel in the mixture it's in the finished product. There is a product from Latricrete that is called Permacolor. The white was very bright white. Didn't stain, didn't need to be sealed. I suppose you could seal it, but we didn't. If I splashed sauce on it, I could wipe it off, or at least make up a mixture of oxyclean and water and get it off. We are going to use the Permacolor grout in our bathroom. They have made more advances with it as far as the colors and other things the tile guy told me. good luck!

Billy is correct. The reason professionals don't like to use it is because if it starts to get the least bit dry-ish as you are installing it, it is unbelievably hard to wipe the grout - which is now gluing itself to the tile - off of the top of the tile. Think of epoxy glue getting dry and how hard that would be to deal with. If you just do a little at a time, and really pay attention, having a helper continually bringing you fresh water to rinse your sponge with, it will last forever and not stain.

Part of my post disappeared :(. Diane earth angel is a slow re bloomer and not super productive. In that image I have 3 planted together. I am hopping in the future it will improve. Desdémona on the other had does produce hundreds of blooms. Ohhh vapor I wish I could send you one of my huge monsters. I cut down desire down to the ground this winter and is back to 7 feet tall canes. I meant for Desdemona to cascade over dark desire’s red blooms with lichfield angel on front. Now I have dark desire smothering everything on its path and can’t even see Desdémona unless I circle to the back of the bed. I have trouble making things happen how I imagine it.

I've had good experience with their velvet, performance linen and melange weave. I believe their velvets are from JB Martin which is a very high quality mill so that is excellent bang for the buck imo - I have bought extra fabric by the yard of their velvet to make pillows for clients too. I dont know their chevron well but if durability is your main concern I dont think you can go wrong with either performance linen and/or melange weave. Darker colors do hide things better though the lighter colors look amazing.
