(All I did was buy that and put it there, it's not attached that I can tell, and I don't claim to have propagated it.) Thanksgiving cactus cuttings Pothos (Epipremnum) and Scindapsis cuttings Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender' cutting Pot of sweet potato vine cuttings, preparing to use them to cover the white wall, the side of our dog's house that gets sun on it in the late afternoon. Also added some passion vine but jury's still out on that, way wilted. Knockout rose trimmings, I was pruning the mama anyway. Everything here was propagated except the sweet potato vine, Syngonium in hanging pot to left, Dieffenbachia in one of the pots, 2 Coleus planted with roots. The giant wash tub thing is full of various cuttings Other side of the tree Thanksgiving cactus had roots, everything else added as a cutting. Recently beheaded Dracaena making 3 replacement tops, Christmas cactus cuttings. Four diff dracs look kinda cool together. (I should have put the beheaded top in here, to make it 5.) This shows the whole cycle including decomposition of plant material, making its' final contribution. Left it in mostly a lump to decompose faster, spread enough to smother grass over cardboard in the rest of the 'bed.' There's a tiny red-leaf maple tree in the middle, too small to see, and various other props, surrounded by pots of mostly props. It's ugly now but will be 'wow!' next summer. Tired of looking at this stump... Bought the Osmanthus fragrans shrub, added propagated Hydrangea and Confederate rose (Hibiscus mutabilis.) Added some monkey grass (Liriope) I found at the edge of the yard this weekend.

Thanks for the reply Ray! I tried the same experiment on my old Green Machine trimmer (#030348, 22.5 cc)while waiting for a bulb. I sealed the bulb's circuit with thick plastic and the bulb's retainer. The trimmer would start and idle easily but w/n produce good RPM until I added the bulb. From your results of your trimmer working and mine w/n, I feel it depends on the system and possibly if the system is sealed or not. The Bottom Line Question! When the bulb is cracked, will the engine run properly (using an alternate primer to start)? loger

leafwatcher, that is a great hobby! Did you fly that plane already, it is probably radio controlled? Do you fly it with an RC club? You could mount a camera in it and take pictures of your hostas from above. I have a little $50 helicopter with a camera in it, but never flew it, wanted to take photos of broken branches in my tall pines... Bernd

Thanks muddy. The thought had crossed my mind about the wood-walled pools. I've checked into this wood and it seems to be the heat-treated wood. With what I can find online, it should be okay.
