Message to Spike

There's a forum here titled, "Is it normal for your spouse to keep earnings a secret?".

Initial post in April, last year.

A number of contributors have said several things that would seem to encourage a reply from the original poster.

There has been no message from the poster since - which is, of course, her right.

A number of us are rather worried that the woman involved may be in some jeopardy. We earnestly hope that there is no reason for us to worry.

Do you have the means to send a message to this woman, to see whether she may be O.K.?

I rather doubt it - she has given no information in her profile.

I e-mailed Mr. Spike on same thing. I got no response either. Guess we're just kicking a dead horse about caring for kaldese. Let's give it up.

Searching the forum, she registered in late April 2002, her only posts are from late April 2002, and in one of them, she says she's been divorced for 11 years. So maybe we all worried for nothing. But at least the rest of us had some good dialog about the subject of marriage and finance!

Hi, Sam. I never thought for a moment you wouldn't keep your word. I just wanted you to know a lot of us are really looking forward to seeing your album of pictures about the way catt buds develop. About phals: You really will enjoy phals, I think. There are so many different kinds and colors, there's beauty for anyone's eye in them, IMO. I started to grow them because I needed something that gave more flowers for less work. Trying to grow high light orchids was too hard in summer (not to mention winter). What sold me on phals was the ease of blooming them, and the fast growth. You can buy small ones fairly cheap, and get blooms within a year or at most two. Ella, I just happen across your story this morning almost a year after you posted it. I dont even know if you'll get my post but.. I wanted you to know how touching this story was to me. My whole day will be changed as I think about what was posted. I will call my loved ones and tell them how I feel about them.. I will make time to spend with them no matter how hectic my day seems.I will share my feelings with friends and coworkers as I go about my day. I agree with everything Wildchild said. I've seen people here annoyed/angry with the following: spelling errors on posts, grammar errors on posts, people who disagree with them on posts, slang used on posts, people who post things someone finds offensive, people who post something too controversial, people who like Jon and Kate, people who hate Jon and Kate, people who like the Duggars, people who hate the Duggars, people who make too many posts, people who don't come back to respond to posts...etc..etc..etc... I just figure everything written is going to annoy someone, LOL. You can't please everyone.

It didn't say who she was divorced from, just that she had been divorced for 11 years.

She said, "I have been divorced for 11 years, my kids are 17 and 11."

Hi again all,

Thanks for your additional information, TREKaren.

She refers to talking with the stepdad about the child's difficult behaviour - so it appears that there's another male in her life.

Who appears to be the basis of the problem that she referred to earlier.

I hope that she's doing O.K.
