It is the initial seasonal start-up my arm hates and fine with the pull afterwards. “A Big Safety Issues” if you have ever had a “Kickback”, it could take you out. I doubt the none experienced would make the needed Jig. If an electric motor can be adapted to your mower or Etc. that is the safer way to go. The neatest I have seen is the mower that re-coils for the next start when you kill it. Again it could be mean and not start with that charge at the start of the season. Hopefully it will have Compression Release to assist with one or two pulls. If I was not so lazy I would hire or trade with my Yardman, LOL! He walks from 10 houses away with his problems. I call him from 10 houses away when I need Help. Or! Alert him on my 2 mi walk I’ll need help on my return if he has time. He’s a good yardman with yards and helps in a crew…

My own vinegar bottles actually said 6%. I don't like to use rain water on small seedlings because boiling doesn't kill all spores. I'm just careful, maybe too much. Distilled water sounds expensive. I have an almost unlimited supply of purified water, which I use for seedlings, so I have never needed to worry about that. (I have an almost unlimited supply of rain water too ... 14 sun hours in November) Maybe you can acidify your tap water and then dilute it with some distilled water to reduce the salt content? Depends on how many seedlings you have. The fluoride levels in tap water are too low to be harmful to plants. Not much anthropogenic chemicals either, and they are more of concern to us and animals than to our houseplants. No need to buy pure water for that reason, but salt buildup is of course greatly reduced compared to using your tap water. It is also reduced by acidifying the water.

Thank you for the links, I just bought some from kens link (30). I am tempted to do 100 for 100 that is a on of hostas, how do you handle that many? I have 500 hosta seeds planted indoors and another 600 showed up today, I expected low germination because I've never grown hosta from seed but we will see how they turn out. 12 are up from the first set of 50 I did. Question, what do you think will go good with hostas in my area? I was thinking ferns, I can get those for free if i dig them. maybe my hosta growing will inspire others in my neighborhood to grow some, and by then I might have a good amount of hosta babies for them to start off if a lot of my seeds germinate. i have travertine flooring in the kitchen, hallway, foyer, laundry room and all the bathrooms. I only used hot water and a mop or by hand for the first four years or so. i never felt like the floor was clean, so i started to use just a drop of floor cleaner, and just a drop, and this probably made no difference in cleaning the floor. We had the floor resealed a year ago; i'm on the fence about how often to have this done; I hear so many different stories. My friend bought the Shark Steam Mop and after four months of debating whether to buy it or not, i did and it really cleans the floors well. After mopping it four times, over 3 weeks, the pads are not as black anymore. The only problem is that I have streaks and I'm not sure if it's because of the stone; my friend has tile and never has streaks and we both use distilled water. As far as pitting, it's been almost six years that we had the floor installed and we are just now starting to see pitting. I was told this will happen over time. We have the stone that is very smooth (honed?) and the holes had been filled in and over time, they start to pit.
