Need Advice Re: Dyed Concrete Floor

Our finished walkout basement has a dyed concrete floor that has been scored to resemble large tiles. The concrete contractor put one coat of sealer on it that doesn't appear to have taken evenly.

We can't contact him and don't know what brand/type sealer he used. We'd like to apply another coat to even out the sheen - some places are glossy, some are totally matte.

Can anyone recommend a product that won't interact with what was originally applied? I've searched earlier posts and saw references to waxing. Is this something that we should try? Can you give me a product name and source?

We have radiant heat under the floor. Don't know if that points to using one finish over another.

Any help you can offer will be appreciated.
