Great Nutritional Website

Our doctor who is an Internal doctor places a huge focus of his care on nutrition and healing through nutrition. Since there are a lot of postings regarding health issues here, I thought this site which he recommended to me might be something some of you would find helpful as well. It even has a large volume of great healthy recipes.

I know it comes off as very commercial but our doctor has been following this doctors work since before he got popular. He urged me to look past that saying the information in his library and 4.00/mo subscription is very good information. Which is true.

Yes, if you lean that way, meaning eating more fruits and vegetables, you'll be healthier, and a good place to get ideas for eating healthier. But his diet? As I said on the other thread, if you're supposed to get 60% of your daily calories from nonstarchy vegetables, that's something like 34 cups of cooked kale a day. Good luck with that....

I have used fitday.com in the past (and still sometimes do), but I prefer sparkpeople.com. Both are free and offer nutrition information. Spark has forums & recipes as well. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Annie, you should delve more into the sight before you write it off, maybe the "diet" isn't for you, however there is still a lot of nutritional information that is helpful and not commonly known. It's not just about Kale.
