Question on flue opening

I recently received a good condition used stove from my father and am in the process of hooking it up in my basement. We have a masonry chimney that looks very clean and the tile liner look ok from the top and looking up from the bottom with an automotive mirror tool.

I will be tiling the floor and back wall behind the stove right on top of the cement and the side walls and ceiling are more than 36" away so I am ok with clearance.

The problem I am having is the stove has a 6" connector on it but the wall has an oval size pipe cemented in. Its about 8.5" wide and almost 7.5" tall. The pipe goes through the foundation and into the chimney and looks to be in pretty good shape. I am wondering what is the best way to connect the 6" stove pipe into this odd shaped flue pipe. Thanks for any assistance on this.

Chris
