Vemma - Liquid Vitamin

Has anyone heard about or has anyone taken a liquid vitamin called Vemma. Apparently you can only buy it through representatives. Someone was telling me about it, he claims it fantastic, blah, blah, blah blah. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it.

I can tell you that Vemma is not a bad product, however it is a knock of of Xango. You should listen to the Bla Bla Bla... The main ingredient at (least in Xango) is the whole fruit of the Mangosteen. This fruit is one of the strongest antioxidants know but the big thing is that it is a very potent anti-inflammatory and has natural cox2 inhibitors. It has replaced my Celebrex (similar to Vioxx) It is great to be pain free and have my mobility back without the use of dangerous drugs. I am not trying to sell anything here...just advising that ther really is something to this and you should pay attention. www.pubmed.gov Type in xanthones or Mangosteen, see for yourself (this is a government medical research site). People should really start thinking what they are putting in their bodies. When was the last time you saw a RX comercial that didn't have 15 possible side effects listed that were worse than what the RX is suposed to treat? Think!

Kate, as you know, we discussed that we don't fertilize newly transplanted roses until after we see new growth (10-14 days), which is the sign that the feeder roots are growing. That's the time to apply fish emulsion solution, extra dilute (50% of the labeled dilution), right over the top of the plant. Rose leaves can absorb nutrients, but the organ of the rose that is evolved and designed to do that job is the roots. The roots have the equipment to absorb nutrients in the most efficient manner. In another month, do another 50% dilution application. Roses love fish emulsion. Don't get it on your shoes! You'll have to toss them. Since it's early in the season, you don't have to worry about the fish oil damaging the leaves up in Quincy within the next two weeks. It doesn't smell good, but the odor goes away soon. Brands of seaweed and fish emulsion are generally regional. The Alaskan product is a good product. As for B-1...never used it. I read a study somewhere that it didn't do a thing under controlled study conditions, so I save my money.

Hey Dinkie... Hubby & I had gastric bypass surgery about 18 months ago & the doctors at the Barix Clinic recommended Flintstone One-A-Day Chewables ... two per day. They seem to be working & we also take vitamin B-12 sublingual (when we can get it), regular Vitamin B-12 pills when we can get the melting ones. Our blood work has never been off except for my husband's iron & he is now taking an iron supplement. Good luck finding something that works for you!

You're welcome, yes among several of its benefits it helps with joint function. One of the doctors I know through work combines holistic medicine with his conventional Internal Medicine Practice. My DH now sees him for his primary care and the Krill oil is just one of several things he's suggested to help boost my DH's immune system. I read up on it and found it's good for a lot of things including joint issues and started taking it too. A plus is that it works wonders with skin as well (similar to Vitamin E but better). I should note that the capsules are made with organic gelatin, so of course because of their texture, they may stick to each other but the Vitamin D has no oder that I've noticed.

The bark of several species of willow does contain a chemical that acts a bit like asprin. Ref: WebMD Willow bark is the bark from several varieties of the willow tree, including white willow or European willow, black willow or pussy willow, crack willow, purple willow, and others. The bark is used to make medicine. Willow bark’s pain relieving potential has been recognized throughout history. Willow bark was commonly used during the time of Hippocrates, when people were advised to chew on the bark to relieve pain and fever. Willow bark is also used for fever, the common cold, flu, and weight loss. Salicin, the active ingredient in willow bark, seems to have contributed to the death of the composer, Ludwig von Beethoven. Apparently, Beethoven ingested large amounts of salicin before he died. His autopsy report is the first recorded case of a particular type of kidney damage that can be caused by salicin. I rarely come to this forum, just passing through.

But,
I have used the Vemma and I really thing it helped me as for as more energy. My BF still uses it and it is now available in 1 doze sizes. She buys it on the internet. I had to quit using it just because of the cost for both of us to use it.

I have used Vemma for two years, and it is a very effective vitamin supplement, particularly if you don't like to swallow large multivitamin pills several times a day. They recommend two ounces which I started with, but then read in a nutrition guide that only one ounce was needed. The downside is that the supplement is costly and the shipping charges added on makes it even more so. I have recently switched to a liquid supplement at a slightly less cost with free shipping, and the ingredients are the same minus the mangosteen. To early to tell any difference.
