Today I have successfully installed new plastic inserts for the interior glass panels. The setup and removing the old plastic inserts was the most time consuming event. All is good now, until more windows deteriorate. Have a Great one.

Sending a prayer that all goes well. My first knee operation was on both knees at the same time (not a smart move, as I didn't have a leg to stand on!), but I was in my early 30's, so it went well. The problem was the therapy that followed. They were too aggressive and I ended up re-tearing the meniscus in one knee. Therapy is critical, but it shouldn't be done to the point where it really hurts.

I am headed for a tkr after we're in our new house - will start the process - pre op appointments, etc. in January. I'm not sure how long it will take after that to have the operation...the doctors have told me to limit walking/hiking after the operation, to switch to nonweightbearing exercise like biking and swimming. I hate water, and the nearest public pool is about 20 miles from here. So - I need to look for an exercise bike, I guess. The only thing I'm dreading - I've heard that many people wind up with catheters afterwards - true? I've had them before and hated the pulling feeling whenever I moved. We're about 30 miles from the hospital where I'll go for the operation, but there is a good PT clinic in our small town, so that's good.

Yes JP- Start rockin that knee ASAP!! I'm preaching here from a downstairs bedroom! Damn spring cold!!! Missed work yesterday, & today is the normal day off. OSP- I KNEW it! Should'a had my surgery in JH!!! That way, I could've done my rehab at the Four-Seasons there....;-) DW & I walked through there in July 2013. Were staying in West-Yellowstone, but drove thru YNP one day, then down to JH. MIMI- I bet you've got lotsa rehab stories you could tell!!? My CPM-Machine was on when I woke up...I THINK... If not, it was on soon afterward! You also reminded me that I had started "Pre-replacement" exercises 2 months b4 surgery too! "Go in stronger" was kinda their mantra... Faron
