I have had a few friends in my life with MS and I can't say that being super skinny was a major symptom....nor being dumb as a stump, but heck, I'm not a doctor so what do I know ;oP I love the SS said it can't happen...maybe they need to read or watch the news? LOL I would love to be on a HW show. I'm picturing my life as I sit now...I'm in a paint stained shirt with dirty jeans on (gardening and painting while DS was at school) but I do have on a lovely pair of ruby ear rings :oP DS is out in the center hall of (what they would picture as a fabulous mansion on a HW episode) our old victorian and has just had a major 3 car pile up....This means the mansion is full of torn up cardboard as his cars were all boxes... HE's wearing a paint stained pair of designer jeans, a bat man tee shirt (with paint...what do they do at kindergarten? Dip them in paint) and skull and heart boots while screaming at the top of his lungs for an amballance (spelled as he says it). The dog just barfed up the dinner he stole from the cat...the cat is whining about his lack of dinner (I'll refeed him) and there is a herd of deer in the back 40 pooping all over the yard (this housewife will soon be chasing them out with a hose). Ahhh the romance of the real world....it would be quite a show :oP Anyone else want to be on it? heh heh

Would you beg a Chinese guy for $5.00 to buy a meal? That's what the Western world is doing, especially the U.S. Not making enough to pay the bills in the lifestyle to which we've become accustomed (including paying high prices for wars) ... ... we're running up huge debts. And ... going deeper into debt every year. Our million dollar houses, surrounded by 2 - 10 acres of lawn (which should be producing food), cost large amounts for servicing with utilities (water pipes, sewer pipes, gas pipes, electrical lines) ... ... and we've neglected renewing that infrastructure (some of the sewers in the town where I lived until recently were still of the old timber kind). We suburbanites have to travel everywhere by car (and have convinced ourselves that it's too dangerous to let our modern kids travel their quiet suburban neighbourhood by bike) ... using up the rapidly-depleting petroleum (that took millions of years to develop, but which we've been using for just slightly over 100 years). They say that for the whole world to consume at the rate that we have been for the last less-than-100-years would require the resources of four planets. Four planets that we don't have available. Is it fair for us, who have three cars per driveway, to tell the Chinese, who have about one car per one hundred driveways ("driveway" -what's that?) ... that they have to cut back on pollution-generating systems, when we produce far more per capita than they? Also, when they use electricity to sew a purse in China (whether it sells for $3.00 or $3,000.00) and use fuel to provide (often slight) heat to the factory, then use quite a lot of petroleum to haul it across the Pacific to sell in the Western world ... ... who should have the charge for the pollution and global warming relative to that transaction charged to their account ... ... the producer? .. or the consumer? When we use huge machines to dig up the Tar Sands in Alberta, and steam to warm it so that the bitumen will flow, then process it some, and ship it over the border to the U.S. ... ... whose pollution and global warming account should be charged ... ... the Canadian, who produced it? Or the U.S. one, whose people consumed it? A farmer can tell you that you can get away with abusing the land for a while, in the mistaken illusion that you're in charge and can do as you please. Shortly, Mother Nature will rise up and kick you a good swift one in the backside. We've been abusing our world for some time. The piper will have to be paid - and it looks as though the day of reckoning is approaching. Our highly-paid jobs are disappearing. ole joyful

It's fun to see the pictures and see the coons and cats eating together but I never met a coon that I really liked. They are mean and vicious when they want to be and will kill for the sport of it. I have had them raid my chicken house and just cause a melee leaving a wake of dead chickens..night after night...It is very heart breaking to have to endure their viciousness.......once they find your place, they will come until you kill them or there is nothing left for them to kill or eat..they will eat a bit and then go chase another. I have found that they can get into just about anything that a human being can build. I had a Mama duck that decided to build a nest and set on her eggs. When I found her, I tried to secure her as best I could and managed for nearly the whole period of time but before the hatch, they got to her...killed her and tromped through destroying most of the eggs....You can stand there watching them and they will shoot a bird at you they are so reckless...shoot at them and in 5 minutes they will come back and say, let's try that again...........

There is a huge difference in how the finishes in your kitchen will appear under the various kelvins. We took a 12" piece of Yellow River granite to the lighting store where they had a kitchen venue appointed with various kelvins. Under the 2700K the granite looked totally gold/brown. Under the 5,000K the granite looked like it was completely gray. Under 3,500K the granite looked as expected, multiple colors including almond, golden brown and bluish gray. I also noticed that their stainless appliances and white cabinets looked vastly different as the different Kelvins were turned on and off. The stainless steel looked dingy under the 2700 and cabinets looked yellow. The 5,000 K made everything seem to cold. We got the 3,500k Cree LEDs and we are totally happy with the "color" of everything in our kitchen.
