I've been meaning to thank you for posting a link for the Maytag blue Cheese this past holiday...I'd forgotten how my father loves a good blue, it jogged my memory. I ordered him some and he says it is just the best!

Glad you liked it....and glad the quality is still good after my husband is no longer in charge...LOL!
Seriously...they are doing a great job of increasing production, but still making it all by hand...hand mixed, stirred, formed, salted, turned...checked frequently...trimmed, cut and foil wrapped....and that's why it costs a lot!
But it provides Christmas money and vacation money for lots of mostly stay at home mom's!

Terri, I haven't forgotten you -- just haven't had phone or email for a week. We lost coverage when we got to the Oregon Coast. From there we drove up to Olympic National Park and still were without coverage (I have Verizon phone and Verizon mobile broadband). The Verizon map showed coverage for all of those areas, as well as Victoria, but we didn't have it. Anyway, we are now in Parksville, BC and plan to stay in BC until Monday. I'll give you a call as soon as we have coverage again, but I'll keep updating you here in the meantime.

Sue, I'm glad it worked out for you so well. It is the only rub I use and I put in on or in everything. In ground beef for burgers or meatloaf, on pork, chicken, beef and shrimp. The BBQ sauce is good enough to drink..LOL I always add a bit extra Maple syrup..because I love it. The sauce lasts a good long time in a jar with a lid in the fridge..okay well if you happen to make a triple batch and need it around for a while...LOL
