I was taking a class but got sidetracked and haven't finished. I think I have decided what I really enjoy is dressing the dolls and not making the dlls themselves.

I love making them and dressing them. Altho, right now I have a lot of naked dolls waiting for somekind of clothing. Do you know of any good sites regarding porcelain dolls?

I would wrape the hair in a close fitting net of somekind...even something like an onion bag and then use an electronic's vac to clean them...

This is the site of a dollshop n my area.....I know that she does supply lots of parts for people. I took a couple of classes and she is very nice and helpful.....She has tons of doll molds and lots of spare parts so perhaps she could help you..here is her contact page... The outfits you sewed are just adorable! Nice job! Until one actually sews doll clothes it looks so easy, but when we do it we learn how much hand sewing has to go into it -- and in my case stitch ripping because it's been so long since I've done this and I'm sewing rather complex outfits. I've forgotten so much and am learning again the hard way. But it sure is gratifying when it's done and on the doll. You should be very proud of your excellent work!

I am just getting started making por. dolls. Just finished my first doll and was amazed that I could paint the face! Fell in love with making them.
