Friendship sourdough starter...

It finally happened: my aunt turned up with a friendship starter. She says it's not the famous Amish starter, but one called "Herman". With it came a recipe for a cake, but I would like to try using it to make bread and I am wondering if the Amish starter recipes would work. The directions are as follows:

Day 1: receive the starter.

Days 2 & 3: stir 2-3 times a day.

Day 4: feed with 200 ml milk, 200 ml flour and 250 ml sugar.

Days 5-8: stir 2-3 times a day.

Day 9: feed with 200 ml milk, 200 ml flour and 250 ml sugar. Divide in 5 equal parts and give four of them to your friends.

Day 10: Add 150 ml cooking oil, 250 ml sugar, 3 eggs, 350 ml flour, 2 tsp salt, 100 grams nuts, 100 grams chocolate chips, 2 grated apples, 2 tsp cinnamon. Bake.

This sounds like a variation of the Amish starter, right?

If it is, I should be able to use the Amish recipes, but the amounts of dough are probably different, so if anyone can tell me how much dough goes into the final recipe (before the new ingredients are added), I would appreciate it.
