nautical (but not waterfront) home inspiration?

I'm looking for some inspiration for building a new home in the next 2-3 yrs (maybe 3500 sq feet or so) with a nautical/coastal influence. Here's the challenge - I live in the middle of CT and will most likely not be able to afford to live on the water (the CT river). I'm looking for a home design with a nautical look but something that would fit in with other traditional homes on the street - so it can't be too 'over the top'. I LOVE the look of a front porch, lots of windows and would also LOVE a 4-season sunroom. Living in New England, you have to get all of the sunlight you can! I also love a lot of white trim inside and out.

One way I was thinking of making a standard/traditional looking home more nautical-looking is to just put unpainted cedar siding on it that will gray over time.

Any thoughts on architects or homes you may have seen that might fit this idea? Here are a couple of home plans I like but I would like to find others...

My favorite floorplan is the Sutcliffe by Frank Betz...

My favorite exterior (so far) is the Gracehaven by Don Gardner...

Any thoughts or homes you've seen that might fit what I'm looking for???

Thanks for your input!
