"Salad" with no veggies or fruit? What?

I am looking at tomorrow's menu for a meeting and they're bringing lunch in from a "bread" restaurant, which I usually can't stand anyhow, because if you order a sandwich, they give you the sandwich and another piece of bread and a cookie (big enough for three servings)... but this tops it. A "salad" with no veggies or fruit:

Asian Sesame Chicken
Romaine, cilantro, almonds,
sesame seeds, wonton strips
& Asian sesame vinaigrette

Seeds, nuts, bread, an herb, and lettuce. What? No cranberries? No oranges? No edamame? No carrots! No onions! Nothing! What? I'm totally confused. Can this be right? What a carb world in which we live.
