Lose the cleaning obsession :-) Consider it part of the patina. A well-used range is a sign of a good cook. Too many people want their kitchens to look pristine.

My range is a 2009 model. If that is what they gave me because it was replaced a few times. It did not always light when you turned the gas on and would make a big pop with fire. This new one is just as bad. It kills me that I paid so much money for it. Can you post a photo of your range. Maybe mine isn't as bad as I think it is. Thank you for your answers.

Depending on how dirty our burner pans are when I'm doing a "real" cleaning (and not just a spray and wipe), I'll either scrub w/ BKF (and a little Palmolive) and a blue scrub sponge or spray the pans first with Dawn Power Dissolving Gel, let sit 15-30 min, and then scrub/rinse in the sink. I find it helpful (to prevent or cut down on smudging) to rinse w/ hot water and then dry the pans right away (I use our regular dishtowels--the Ritz/Flemish Wonder Towel).

Sticky, sugary spills (e.g. cranberry sauce) seem to be the toughest to remove, but eventually I can get most or all of the spots off the surface.

Our burner pans (and grates and burner rings) don't look brand new, but they look pretty good IMO--used, but decently-maintained (our AG range is a 2008; it was also a replacement Wolf from the burner issue "era").

For spot cleaning, I was using Perfect Kitchen (from BB&B), but lately have been using alcohol-water (w/lavender oil) in a spray bottle along with my trusty microfiber cloth or sometimes a piece of paper towel (Brawny, FWIW). I am very careful using alcohol on the range, and of course, make sure all burners are off and remain off while using it.

Once in awhile (rarely), if I try to light a burner as or just after the gas whooshes on (in the oven), it'll "balk" at lighting, or lighting "normally" but when that happens, I wait a few moments and then it lights fine. IMO, it shouldn't happen at all, but as long as that's the worst of it, and it remains a rare occurrence, we're accepting it as an idiosyncrasy of an otherwise decent range. The burners fun to cook on, and I am trying to convince myself to get back into baking so I can put the oven to the test, so to speak.

Other than bemoaning the fact that the oven capacity is ~1/2"-1" too shallow to place 1/2 sheet pans on the racks lengthwise (front to back), we are enjoying our range.

I would call the Wolf repair dept. and have them look at your igniters. I had that problem with the big poof of fire when the burner wouldn't immediately light and they were able to correct that. I wish I could tell you what the problem was but I'm not sure. I do think that one repair person was better than another and that was the one who figured it out. I was very happy because it used to freak me out! I agree; it's hard to get all of the spots, marks off and I've grown to accept it. I don't mind not having a perfectly pristine kitchen, but I've thought it was odd considering that it's a much desired brand. If you call them about the best way to clean it, they make it seem so simple-just use something like Windex-but they don't recommend all of these other products that have been recommended here. I may give BKF a try but I doubt that will work on the burner rings.
