Comments (7)As a tip to any NEW parents reading this: Make sure you use name brand such as Crayola. Their paints, crayons, etc wash off walls, furniture and clothing much more readily than other brans (Roseart is one of the WORST to get off walls and woodwork)....See MoreCrayon Bag
Comments (21)Thanks for the compliments. It was really easy. I did buy the pattern, it was less than $10. I'll bring the pattern down and post whose it is, I think it was clothworks, but I'm not sure that might be the purse for the 21 year old niece that I'm working on now. Dragongoddess - 2 1/2 hrs is about right. The pattern had you quilt the fabric first, then attach the crayon pockets and assemble the bag. Comments (8)OK, my kitties are all bundled up with postage and ready to go out. One thing I noticed to caution you guys about -- I messed up one (I kept that one...) but I tried to scrub off the crayon in one place (in the sink with dish soap). That worked "pretty good" but I noticed later that crayon from the pic had transferred in small smudges to other parts of the fabric. I thought I Had ironed them REALLY WELL so it made me a little concerned if people make a quilt and just throw it in the wash. I think I will use color catchers or synthrapol the first time I wash mine....See More- 17 years ago
