Wolf AG 36-Please Help! Should I change order to include griddle?

Ordered the range yesterday, so excited!

Ordered 6 burners, never even considered a griddle. If I call today and switch to a griddle model, I'd use it for cooking periodically, but the fact is, I never use 6 burners anyway. So I wouldn't miss those 2 extra burners.

I'm wondering if anyone with a built-in griddle uses it for extra countertop work space, or for simmering/keeping warm.

I'll have white marble counters, and I make a lot of red sauces, etc. Wondering if I can use the griddle to set open cans of tomatoes, spoon rest, etc. - or will this scratch or otherwise damage it?

Does the griddle get too hot for such this type of use when the adjacent burners are on?

Does having a griddle make cleaning the adjacent burners more difficult, or is it seamlessly integrated and not an issue?

How is it, realistically, to clean? I've read a bunch of GW posts, watched the online video, etc.

Thanks so much!!
