it will keep all sent emails in your sent folder till you go through and delete them, I never delete all of mine because I often find I have to go back in there searching for something I emailed, I do them by large blocks when I do delete them, however I never use OE, but most clients do the sent mail the same way. It would depend on if those sent mail items were being stored on your pc or on their server if not on your pc then it would not show at all on your disc space, they can often be configured both ways.

I'm looking at some things on Craigslist but when I click on the sellers link to send them an email, Outlook opens. Jane, Whenever I am on a website where I click on their link to send them an email, my outlook express always opens with their addy after the To: So what I do is: I highlight THEIR address, click copy, and paste it after To: in my separate g-mail web account to write to them from there. I never use my OE to respond to any website when OE pops up. OR------If you have like I do, (my g-mails accessed in my OE) while in Outlook express, I leave as is and just change the OE address of mine to my webmail address as if I am writing from g-mail. I don't know about what you are requesting, but you can have your gmail mails downloaded in OE. My provider does not have an e-mail server, so I have a couple of gmail accounts. I have them configured to download to Outlook Express, and this works just fine for me. I simply open OE and get my emails. Open your gmail account and click Settings. Then choose Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Tick 'Disable forwarding', and then under Status tick whichever choice you wish. The instructions are also there for configuring OE to allow gmail to be downloaded. This might be easier and better for you than trying to reverse the other action.

yes for some reason they all want to hide the Bcc options and I really have no idea why because that is the way to send multiple emails properly so addresses are not displayed for everyone. this article will help you out a lot it has a lot of yahoo shortcuts and one is how to toggle off and on BCC. Yahoo! Mail I just went to my yahoo to check how it is done, when you choose to compose a new email along the very top above the TO: line there is a tiny little blue line that says show BCC click that and voila you now have a BCC line. You have to really look for those things. another way is click on the TO: itself that will open your contacts before each name is a box you can tick for those options and there is the BCC option also. Making this change now even though it is leaning something new is good because if you get a new pc with 7 or above you no longer have the option of using OE so you are ahead of the game. And you can check your email from anywhere on any pc which is good if you are away from home.
