I think you've gone full screen. Hit F11 and see if they come back.

Maybe, until someone else comes along, who's not half asleep, try right clicking a blank space at top of your screen for your toolbars. Check (left click) Menu bar and Bookmarks toolbar.

If it is Sea Monkey browser, look up in the upper left corner ,and to the left of the Back arrow, File and Home buttons, are these little areas that have a downward pointing arrow head and a couple of rows of dots. Click on one of those to expand the tool bar. several times I have done that and closed my tool bars with out meaning to and have to click those areas to expand them.

I have absolutely nothing, no red X at top, no tool bar at all,as breenthumb is suggesting, perhaps have gone full screen, and will check that to see otherwise, I will be back. Had to get a new keyboard, perhaps this is the reasoning behind the problem? Love the machine, it is just too darn smart sometimes!

Thanks breenthumb, I never would have thought of using that, it never has ever happened before, and spoze the new keyboard had something to do with that. So grateful, now I can have a peaceful day again!

FYI: The F11 toggling is standard on all browsers as far as I know.
