Thanks, Ann, for pointing out the difference. The traps work for regular Western Flower Thrips (big yellow with black bands), but I don't know about Chili-thrips. Here's a link to large-scale traps to catch trips. After reading it, I think the best one is the big yellow plywood board, painted with sticky petroleum jelly... some fruity scent mixed in would be great. Thrips go nuts after my Honey Bouquet rose (yellow, with floral honey). See the link below: "Yellow sticky boards. To use, place 1 to 4 yellow sticky cards per 300 square metres field area....To make your own sticky trap, spread petroleum jelly or used motor oil on yellow painted plywood, 6 cm x 15 cm in size or 30 cm x 30 cm." Thanks Squirrel, wow those photoshop pics made me gasp with joy! Again the large window with moulding added looks great, I can't believe how good. And I had thought about crown moulding before, it looks so good that I know I want to use it. The large window is 60 in high and 78 in wide, the house has ceilings that are 7.5 ft high. The small side window is 30 in high by 43 in wide, and yes the window behind the couch is same dimensions. You guys are very sharp! In the dining room I am thinking a small table or even a wall hung shelf under the smaller window with some nice decor items. Also thought about hanging a tie back drape on one side only with straight edge towards living room wall. The china cabinet does light and it is back with a mirror, I will get some pics later in another post. Living room also looks lovely with your ideas. I have to say I want to get rid of that ugly floor lamp behind couch. Thinking of getting a nicer matched pair for either side. I thought with the two book cases that wall "balanced" the large window at front of house. And i want to get a nice lamp for black octagonal table with phone on it. Well, thank you again for your compliments, never did I think people would be saying my furniture is beautiful. You are making me blush.

Looks like you have very nice curb appeal for the summer months, but when late fall and winter hit as well as first frost, kiss all the colour goodbye. Most buyers understand that, especially if they are from a similar area. Not alot you can do because of the weather up there. However, the spruce up suggestions above are all really good and inexpensive. When you do list, you may want to have a full frontal photo of your garden in the summer so potential buyers can visualize what it looks like that time of year. BTW, we're moving from Tucson to the TC's after our house sells. In what area is your house?

lovely home. is the kitchen an addition? it doesn't feel very 1920 bungalow... and that's a compliment. instead of painting paneling, pry a piece out carefully and see if you have drywall beneath it. it happens. if not, think about replacing the paneling with drywall . your cabinets are in that mostly timeless continuum, and pretty. congratulations on working with what you have. I suspect you have already pulled out the fake greenery. your ceiling fan is probably on a separate switch. delete it, and replace it with a simple ceiling fixture will suffice. if you don't light it up, no one will notice it. I'd live with the sink til I had a whole plan on counter, sink, and backsplash.
